Tony Book Review: The Summer Camp from the Black Lagoon
I read this book to Tony, and had the idea when I was done, "What does this have to do with a black lagoon?" I then noticed this is book 24 in a series. Maybe the first book talks about the black lagoon. This book is a story of a boy facing something scary and then finding he likes it in the end. Hubie (that is a silly name) doesn't want to go to summer camp, but he makes a friend on the bus and that makes things better. One part I didn't like was the comment on bed wetting. This book wanted to veer into potty humor too much. And there was one picture with screwy eyes. I thought I could do as well, and I am not an artist.
