In this movie our superheroes have two actors each, one for their normal person and one for their super hero person. Shazam! is faced with a big test of his abilities as well as his character. He is obsessed with Wonder Woman and keeps dreaming of her. Three gods have stolen a staff which Shazam! discarded in the first movie. They steal it from a museum. With the staff, and their own powers they wreck havoc on the world. Our team of superheroes, the Philly Fiascos, have their hands full. The spend a lot of time dodging, but Pedro is not good a dodging. The bolt from the staff takes your powers away. An interesting character in the movie is Anthea. She is one of the evil gods, but is also enamored with Freddy, one of the superheroes. The wizard also has a prominent part, first with Freddy as the escape captivity together. Kalypso is very very evil. She is determined to eliminate all mankind as a punishment for past perceived wrongs. Hespera is the third evil gos, but she changes before the end of the movie. She wants her powers back but not at the expense of all humanity.

In Theaters: ***^Shazam
Her is a teenager turn superhero. This movie also takes at crack at the importance of family, even if that family is a foster home. It is only in family, that Shazam fulfills his true potential. We have an evil villain who is pretty good in being the champion of the seven sins. He turned out to be a pretty bad dude. Asher Angel plays Billy as a youth, and Zachary Levi plays him as the superhero Shazam. Mark Strong portrays the evil Dr. Sivana.
This is not the usual DC comic fair. This movie is lighter and funnier than a traditional DC comic. SUperman however does make a cameo towards the end of the movie.

Movie Review: ****^The Star (2017)
This movie takes some liberalities with the story but has enough of the story that I had tears when Jesus was born. In this story the animals can talk to each other; but when they talk to the people all the people hear is animal noises. This makes for some tense moments, and the donkey knows there are mean dogs and a bad man after Mary, but don't know how to let Mary and Joseph know other than to cause bad things to happen. Steven Yuen voices the donkey, Keegan-Michael Key his bird friend, and Aidy Bryan the sheep friend they meet. Mary and Joseph are portrayed by Gina Rodriguez and Zachary Levi.

Musical Review: Tangled Soundtrack
This is the music from the Disney Musical Tangled. The music was written by Alan Menken with lyrics by Glen Slater. The story is based on the tale of Rapunzel by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. I must admit, the song "I see the Light" I play over and over. I find this song as enjoyable as the songs from "Frozen."

This is the song that the main characters, Rapunzel (Mandy Moore) and Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi), sing while the are floating on the lake watching the floating lanterns. I really don't care for the music of the old witch, (Donna Murphy) but Moore sings a couple other nice songs,
"When WIll My Life Begin" with a couple reprises and "The Tear Heals" which is very emotional.
