Movie Review: ***^ The Fifth Element (1997)

 Bruce Willis as Korbin and Milla Jovovich as Leelo/The Fifth Element form a relationship when she falls into his cab.  Turns out he is more than a cab driver but is ex-military taking a break from that life.  To save the world the Fifth Element, with two special stones need to be in the temple before the evil destroys them.  I did not much care for the futuristic world that is presented in this movie.  Everyone seems to be hyper-sexualized.  Zorg (Gary Oldman) is helping the dark power.  Cornelius (Ian Holm) is the priest at the temple and knows somewhat of what is gong on.  Ruby Rhod (Chris Tucker) is a radio personality who adds some humor.  The concept of the movie is good but I do not much care for the universe that has been created.  

Movie Review: ***Three Musketeers (2011)

 Three Musketeers was fun.  Tony and I saw this.  Tony was interested in seeing the sword play, and was not disappointed.  The story was very repetitive in comparison to other versions of the same story.  The only addition was the flying ships, which really added some fun to the story.  They had two men-of-war, which were attached to dirigibles, and had a fine battle.  This movie is worth seeing just for the battle between these two vessels.  However other than that the story has been told before.  Mathew Macfadyen stars as Athos and Milla Jovovich as Milady Winter.  Logan Lermon is the young D'artagnan.  The other musketeers are Luke Evans as Aramis and Ray Stevenson as Porthos.  Orlando Bloom plays Duke Ellington.
