I usually don't care for the Transformers movie, so this was a pleasant surprise for me. This is really an enjoyable Transformers movie. It is not as loud and overbearing as most. I think the one thing that makes this movie stand is the young woman, Charlie (Hailee Steinfield) who for her 18th birthday takes home a junk Volkswagen Bug, and discovers Bumblebee. Bumblebee had escaped from his home planet where the Decepticons rule. His voice box was cut in the escape. And so begins an adventure where Bumblebee and Charlie must save Earth. Agent Burns (John Cena) is at first after Bumblebee, but then realizes he is fighting against the Decepticons.
