Christmas Movie Review: ***^A Christmas Carol (1984)

***^ A Christmas Carol 1984 with George C. Scott of Patton fame.  Scott is a better Patton than a Scrooge.  This version entertained but did not inspire.

  3. Louanne Kivlin-Sutowski I do, I thought Scott's work depicted a very realistic type of Scrooge.

Rick Du Bose My second favorite version. Scott doesn't encumber things with a fake accent or over the top histrionics. Hard not to see a hint of Patton in his performance...
