This is a Feature Films For Families presentation and was made for them. It was filmed through Bonneville Entertainment so likely has some Utah/ Mormon ties.
This
is a depression era movie, along with modern times movie. Melora Slover takes two roles, A.J. in modern times and Amelia Jean in the depression era. It is about a
young woman who is thinking about making money in the modern era. This
consumes her to the point it interferes with her ball playing and her
relationships. However, by some fluke she goes back in time, to just
before Black Tuesday, and tries to influence her brother to make good
decisions with regards to selling the farm, as she knows that it did not
turn out well. She is unable to change the past, but she does learn a
lesson about priorities. This movie is entertaining, but you can tell
it is very low budget. The ending I do not care for very much.
