As can happen in "The Doctor" this movie stars two doctor, Sylvester McCoy, who is familiar as the doctor, and Paul McGann who is a new doctor. The Doctor (McCoy) is transporting the body of The Master who was executed for crimes. However his essence gets into the body of the TARDIS, causing it to breakdown and land in Chinatown, San Francisco. The first doctor, as he comes out of the TARDIS is shot b y a gang,and wounded. He gets to the hospital, but the medical profession actually kill him, operating on him before they know what they are actually doing. The Master inhabits the body of the ambulance driver that took The Doctor to the hospital. The TARDIS of course is not doing well who he convinces that The Doctor is evil, not him, opens the Eye of Harmony. The Master,promises power and riches to those who help him. The Eye must be reclosed, or it will suck the world into itself. This story takes place at the Millenial celebration, and The Doctor needs an atomic clock to fix the eye. Many laughs at the New Year's Eve party where they seek out the clock they need. Great fight in the end, as is common with the Doctor.
This movie was an attempt of seeing how The Doctor would do to an American audience. It did not do well, but was a success in England.
