I have been trying to read all the Curious George Books in the house, and I think this one does it for me. This book is a bit different. George doesn't really get into trouble. He does save the picnic basket; but he had already given all the food to the birds. Birds are very hungry at the beach, and they always have friends. Fortunately George has friends who are willing to share their lunch.
